Fort Worth has been my home since 1987 and I can’t think of a better place to live, work and play! Growing up in a small town in West Texas I am so fortunate to have landed in a place that has a small town feel but has all the big city amenities. Fort Worth and the surrounding areas are growing and prospering and the real estate market here is helping to lead the way in our economic recovery. It is my goal to help my clients find the home of their dreams in a neighborhood that meets all of their wants and needs. I am committed to providing a positive and fulfilling real estate transaction and it is my desire to not simply meet your expectations, but to exceed them. As a licensed real estate professional, I abide by the highest professional standards in personal service and integrity. The relationships I create with my clients are the most rewarding part of my job. Fort Worth has a colorful history and a bright future, and whether you are buying, selling, new to the area or a native, it would be my privilege to assist you with your real estate transaction. In my “spare time” I enjoy watching baseball, reading, biking along the Trinity River Trails, long walks with my dog Abby, exploring the cultural district, and supporting our area sports teams. Call me and let’s talk about how I can help you with your future home sale or purchase.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram also uses their website to reach even more readership on a weekly basis. We believe in our city and we are proud to be a large part of this local publication.

Pricing Your Home

Your Burt • Ladner agent will carefully analyze your property and recommend a price and position in the marketplace. This includes reviewing neighborhood properties sold recently to determine competitive pricing. Our goal is to maximize your proceeds while minimizing the time it takes to sell your property. Statistics clearly indicate that the longer a property is on the market, the lower the final sale price will be.

Pricing your home correctly from the very start is the single most important thing you can do to ensure a successful sale - one that is quick and puts the most money in your pocket.

Homeowners are often tempted to set the initial list price higher than fair market value because they think they can simply lower the price later if the property doesn’t sell.

Setting the price too high in the beginning can drastically increase the time it takes to sell and typically achieves a final sale price that is well below market value.

Properties that sell in the

first four weeks

typically achieve a sale price within 1.9% of their fair market value.

A listing generates intense interest during its first two weeks on the market, but activity drops off by more than 80% in the third week and beyond - subsequent price reductions notwithstanding.
